Back when TED was invitation-only and unadvertised, with no press or media allowed, I was proud to be an attendee. In fact, I was at every TED Conference from 1998 through 2006. (And TEDActive 2012). Being a member of this community has been one of the most fun and enriching parts of my life. Thank you again, Richard Saul Wurman, for creating one of the greatest events ever, and also to Chris Anderson, for building on what Wurman created and making the TEDTalks YouTube channel and TEDx licenses free to the world.
