Each year, the TED Conference hosts a small invite-only event in NYC, for members of the community to vote on a short list of presenters who might get invited to speak on the main stage for that year’s conference. I was proud to attend in 2012.

Among my personal highlights were pretending to be Godzilla smashing a model of the “City of Tomorrow”, and getting to explore the Elrod House, where the James Bond classic “Diamonds are Forever (1971)” was filmed.
