The United Nations General Assembly convened a high-level meeting to discuss the global impact of information technology and social media — in particular its ability to empower marginalized communities, and to otherwise advance greater equality and other benefits for humanity. I was proud to be present, though I regret that pictures were not allowed while the General Assembly was in session.
