In the EcoSocChamber (Economic and Social Council) of the United Nations, I was fortunate enough to participate in an important meeting about how to maintain the overall health of our world’s oceans. Keynotes included President Tommy Remengesau of Palau and talk show host Montel Williams (discussing a startup he’s promoting, which collects plastic waste from the ocean and converts it into fuel for energy).
