Photography

I have been a photographer since I was old enough to hold a camera — originally focusing on architecture, now primarily portraits of entrepreneurs and performing artists.  I have written Photoshop filters, studied body language subtlety, and applied neuromarketing to online Search Image Optimization™.

My present choice of equipment is the Nikon D700 (full-frame sensor), with Nikkor lenses: 85mm f1.4 AF‑S portrait lens with high bokeh, 50mm f1.4 AF‑S neutral-perspective lens, 20mm f2.8 AF‑D extreme wide angle, 70‑200mm f2.8 AF‑S VRII long zoom for stage portraits, 24‑70mm f2.8 AF‑S all-purpose, 28‑300mm f3.5‑5.6 AF‑S VR compact telephoto for flexibility in spontaneous daylight circumstances, and PC‑E 24mm f3.5 for architectural perspective correction.  I strongly prefer natural/available light, but if necessary I supplement it with SB‑400, SB‑700, and SB‑900 portable flashes or Calumet 400W studio strobes.
